Robert Felix

Robert Felix, President, joined Mountainbreeze in 2018. A veteran of the property management industry, Robert began managing communities in 1980 and brings extensive experience, credentials, and in-depth industry knowledge to the Moutainbreeze team. As president, Robert is using this wealth of experience to drive the Mountainbreeze mission and vision to deliver the best service throughout Idaho.

Prior to Mountainbreeze, Robert worked with numerous clients at some of the largest property management firms in the country. He has consulted for developers, management companies, large-scale, high-rise, property and portfolio managers, and communities. His background in construction, operations and finance has allowed him to become a national leader in community association and property management, finances, operations, and reserve study services.

Robert’s professional designations include the CMCA®, PCAM®, and RS certifications. He is an active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and currently serves on the Community Association Managers International Certification Board. A seasoned educator, Robert has taught CAI curriculum for over 30 years and has taught all around the world, including classes in Dubai and giving industry insight speeches in South Africa and Australia. He recently received the CAMICB Distinguished Service Award for his nearly 20 years of service developing the CMCA, and the 2021 Distinguished Service Award from CAI.

Raised on Whidbey Island, Robert is a Washington native who started in the community association industry while earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Western Washington University. He previously served four years in the United States Air Force 820th Red Horse squadron. His ties to the Northwest continue with his drive to ensure the Mountainbreeze legacy throughout Idaho.
